What is a global citizen?
At RTCA, we ask our students every day to be aware of their role, participation, and service to the school community and their community. But our students are also imprinted with the understanding that they have roles and responsibilities in our world.
We are intentional about exposing RTCA students to knowledge, traditions and culture of countries around the world.
From as early as preschool, classrooms are assigned a single country to study as part of our Global Embassy Mentors (GEM) program, offering a deep dive into nations abroad.
Our robust foreign language program exposes students to the language and customs of China and Latin America.
And middle school students embrace the world in their own way during international missions trips to one of over a half dozen locations.
We layer knowledge about the world to create better citizens of the world. That's how we build global citizens.
